Sepia-toned photographic print depicting several storefronts on the southeast corner of Woodward Avenue, and John R Street. The corner building houses J.E. Watson's Photographs and R. Rowland Groceries. Next to that are J.M. Bailey's Fulton Market, Excelsior Bird Store, a chiropodist, and a jewelry store. There is a wagon shop around the corner. A man, a rack of brooms, a stack of barrels, and several other goods are in front of R. Rowland. The photo had a black border. "Southeast corner Woodward & John R D*O #81, 1883" typed on label on verso.
