Photograph (and 2 copies). Black and white photo of three men who are standing beside their bicycles on a sidewalk. A 2-story wood-frame house is visible in the background. The men are dressed in bicycling attire that would be suitable for fall weather which is indicated by the large numbers of leaves on the ground. Handwriting on the verso of one of the photos shows "William Henry George at left, Stephen Ellis Lovett in center, Frank Wood on right" and "Picture taken between 1888 and 1890. Rode all over Detroit on bicycles to Port Huron, Orchard Lake, Pontiac, Farmington, Wyandotte, Trenton, Ann Arbor, etc. Also rode as far as Toronto, Canada." Additional handwriting notes that William Henry George and Frank Wood lived on 4th Avenue, Detroit, and that the "text copied from original text by Robert H. George, 26041 Carol, Franklin, Mich."
