Monroe Street runs along the lower portion of the photograph. The Family Theatre in the Second Williams Block, stands in the lower right corner of the frame, supporting a Canadian Club Whiskey billboard. Cadillac Square runs along the right edge of the frame. Along it stands, the Cadillac Square Building and Cadillac Tower. The Wayne County Building is partially visible behind Cadillac Tower. In the lower left corner of the frame are the tops of several buildings and businesses along Woodward Avenue and Campus Martius--Hudson's, Kern's, Crawford Clothes. In the background, much the land adjacent to I-375 and around future site of Lafayette Park--with the exception of the Lafayette Clinic--is clear.
