The large red brick building to the left of the freeway (at Grand River Ave.) is the Wagner Baking Company (Wonderbread). The Michigan Consolidated Gas Company Building can be seen in the background beyond the Wagner Baking Company plant. Several old houses and buildings can be seen along the tops of the embankments on each side of the new freeway. The number, "27085," is shown in the lower left corner of the photo.
