Sepia toned photograph, mounted on board, of the memorial for Edward Edgar Hartwick at Woodlawn Cemetery. The memorial shows a soldier, in uniform and wearing the insignia of the Army Corps of Engineers, standing with two young children at a grave site. Text at the bottom of the memorial reads "To the memory of my beloved husband Edward Edgar Hartwick Major Engineers U.S. Army 20th Engineers Forestry who died in France in the service of his country on Easter Sunday March 31, 1918." Text on the left side of the memorial lists Major Hartwick's service record.
