Black and white aerial photograph cut from a proof sheet taken of the construction of the Detroit Edison Plaza from a point to its southwest roughly above Michigan Avenue, facing northwest. The interchange between I-75 and the John C. Lodge Freeway, Grand River Avenue, Cass Tech High School, Cass Park, the S. S. Kresge World Headquarters, and the Masonic Temple are all in view. Part of the photographer's plane is captured along the bottom of the image. "City of Detroit, Report & Information, 72101, Photographic," was stamped on the verso of the proof sheet, however the final digit was hand-corrected to "2."
