Black and white aerial photograph cut from a proof sheet taken of the Rivertown-Warehouse District from a point above Jefferson Avenue and Beaufait Street facing west. The Ireland and Matthews Manufacturing Plant is near the lower right. Parke, Davis and Company and Medusa Cement are on the riverfront on the right. Jefferson Avenue extends vertically along the center. Eastern High School is at the right edge of the frame. Elmwood Park, much of which is clear although a few housing developments stand, and Lafayette Park are near the upper right. Downtown, Windsor, and the Ambassador Bridge are in the distance. "M-2054," was handwritten on the verso of the proof sheet.
