Black and white street view photograph from a glass plate negative of the east side of Woodward Avenue, looking north between Alfred and Edmund Place, as noted on the verso. The shadow of an adjacent tree is reflected on to the thoroughfare in the foreground. Two ladies walk along the sidewalk in front of a residential structure in the Second Empire architectural style, the home on the far right is also of the same style. An automobile is visible in the distance. Also, written on the verso, "Building at right, home of Samuel Heavenrich, 468 Woodward, blt 1874."
