Black and white street view photograph from a glass plate negative of the west side of Woodward Avenue, near Warren and Putnam, site of Maccabees Building, as noted on the verso. Street car tracks are visible in the thoroughfare, a horse carriage is parked next to the curb, south bound on Woodward in front of the Queen Anne style residence; the Maccabees lodge is visible on the right side of the photograph adjacent to Putnam. A large commercial structure is visible in the distance. Also written on the verso, "Extreme right home of Edward Smith, built 1888."
