The parade float featured in the photograph features an 1899 model Packard, with a man and a woman sitting inside, atop a platform reading "Packard Salutes the Shrine." The float contains four flags, one at each corner, featuring the names of various Packard models. Three later model Packards can be seen around the float, with one in front and two behind. Many people are shown watching the parade along the side of Jefferson Avenue and on the balconies of the building in the back left. The building in the back right, 2751 Jefferson East, has a sign reading "Barnes Press Color Printers." An advertisement for the Lincoln Zephyr V12 is on the side of said building.
