Black and white photographic print of police escorting a Busy Bee Moving van to the Sojourner Truth Housing Projects in late April 1942, following rioting that had occurred two months earlier. Police were ordered by the mayor to keep the peace while African American families moved into the projects through the white picket lines outside. The National Baking Company at 5446 Russell Avenue is visible in the background.
