Mounted sepia-toned photo of Jack Wood, seated in the hydroplane MISS FIREBALL, as taken from off the boat's starboard side, as it float beside the shore. A man on the shore kneels over reaching into the hydroplane's cockpit. A crowd of spectators are gathered on the shore in the background. The photo was originally mounted in a narrow black wood frame which had an adhesive label that read, "The Art Center Workshop, 930 N. E. 20th Ave., Fort Lauderdale, Florida."
