Black and white photograph taken from the sidewalk on the east side of Wayne Street, north of Woodbridge Street, facing south. The side of the building housing Sam and William Hoffman, Manufacturing Agents, and the adjacent parking lot is on the immediate left. Ahead on the southeast corner of Wayne and Woodbridge, is the Master Paper and Box Company building. Further along Wayne is a parking lot at the riverfront, where what appears to be part of a freighter, or the hull of a passenger boat in the process of being scrapped, with the Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company logo painted on the side is docked. "N.E. Cor. Wayne & Woodbridge, vacant part of Par 15," is handwritten in ink around the border on the recto. "C. 1950, WWII," is handwritten in pencil on the verso.
