The corner of the Boat Pier Bar, the Paramount Parking Company's parking lot, Wayne Baths, and the Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company's docks are visible. On the east side of the parking lot billboards are posted advertising Morton Salt and a poster art exhibition at Hudson's. A bus is stopped along Third beside the lot. on the immediate right a man is posting a sign advertising a taping of The Original Amateur Hour with Ted Mack at Olympia Stadium as a benefit for Boysville. The stacks of a Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company ship, either the CITY OF DETROIT III or GREATER DETROIT, are visible beyond the D&C building.
