Photograph. Sepia-toned glossy photograph showing a polluted stream. The view shows a stagnant stream that is covered with algae, floating trash, and debris. The stream banks have grass and some light brush. The freeboard distance between the water surface and the top of bank elevation appears to be about 4 feet. Two large brick buildings are located on each bank and a bridge is visible in the distance. It is possible that this picture is of the Fox Creek in the vicinity of Jefferson Avenue. The creek was enclosed under Jefferson Avenue in the mid 1920's. See photo 2007.004.158c.
