Photograph. Sepia-toned photo showing a group of 18 Detroit Police officers who are seated around a table and desk in a meeting room. The room has a high ceiling with walls that have dark paneling which extends to shoulder height. The furniture has a dark finish and the carpeting has a dark color. Three framed portrait photographs are visible on the wall in the background. Most of the men are wearing police uniforms with badges although three are wearing dark suits without badges. The last names of most of the officers are handwritten in black ink beneath the photo as follows: "Rutledge, O'Grady, Palmer, Kinney, Hogan, Girardiare, Walters, Splaine, Sprott, Baker, Culver." Handwriting on the verso shows "Seated in center, Supt. J. J. Downey (left); Frank H. Croul (right)."
