Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display at the F.G. Clayton Company Department Store. Three differing men's suits are featured in the display including trousers, shirt and necktie. Signage affixed to the rear of the display includes an image of the New York World's Fair and reads, "Hart Scaffner and Marx, Clothing of Tomorrow, An All Star Exhibit At the World of Tomorrow, See these stars wear clothing of tomorrow at the World of Tomorrow ... The New York World's Fair." Adjacent to each suit display is signage in the shape of a star, from left to right they read, "Guardsman Worsted, a superior two ply fabric with unusual shape retaining qualities;" "Observer Worsted, An easy draping cloth of fine two ply yarns;" "Triple Test Worsted, America's ace buy...tested three times for quality, style and value." A small sign in the display foreground reads, "Hart Schaffner & Marx Clothes." The name of the photographer is printed in the lower right corner of the recto, "Davis B. Hillmer."
