Photograph (and one copy, 1943.420.013). Sepia-toned photo showing an ice-covered fire truck that is parked on Grand River Avenue. Most of the street and sidewalk surfaces are also covered in ice and snow. The New York Central/Michigan Central railroad viaduct, and the Grand Trunk viaduct beyond it, can be seen in the background along with parked vehicles, bystanders, and a sign that advertises "Hurley's Coal, Ice." (This photo is one of eight photos that were identified as the "Malt House Fire" at "Grand River & Railroad.")
