Print, Photographic

Mounted, sepia-toned photographic print depicting a view, facing northwest along Griswold Street from West Fort Street. The rear of City Hall is visible along the right edge of the frame. Across the street are the old location of First Baptist Church and the McGraw Building. Capitol High School is in the background just right of center. Horse-drawn streetcars, carriages, and pedestrians are in the street. The photo is mounted on off-white cardstock matting with an embossed frame. "1885-95" handwritten on verso, although Capitol High burned in 1893.
