Black and white photo of the show floor at the Detroit Boat Show in the Artillery Armory. A pair of runabouts, a Gibson and Boatel houseboat, and a group of small sailboats are in view. Several marks have been made around the borders in red and black grease pencil. A handwritten note on the verso indicates that the photo was used in the January 1971 issue of "Motor News," in an article entitled, "It's Boat Show Time." A stamp on the verso credits the photo to Evert Photographic Service. A caption previously taped to the verso read, "a few of the sail and a couple of house boats last year."
