Black and white photographic print of an interior view of the Streets of Old Detroit exhibit located inside the Detroit Historical Museum; storefronts visible include those for furniture, clothing, and a 1840s bank. Typed on the verso, "Night life in old Detroit was nothing much. Maybe here is where they developed that crack about rolling up the streets at sundown. Only they had street illumination in those days." Also, handwritten on the verso, "Used in M. News, Nov. 1964, p. 13; 113851, 8/54."
