Photograph. Black and white photo of a large folding sign that shows "Detroit to Chicago, I-94, Now Nonstop and Toll-Free." The sign has been set up on the concrete highway pavement and has a large opening at the center which would allow a car to pass through. A large crowd can be seen in the background along with several parked cars. Presumably, this photo was taken at a dedication ceremony to celebrate the recent completion of highway reconstruction. A typewritten label on the verso shows "I-94, Detroit-Chicago, Automobile Club of Michigan, Nov., 78."
