Photograph. Black and white photo of the dedication ceremony for the "John C. Lodge Expressway Completion, November 3rd, 1959." The view shows nine men who are standing behind a large banner with text that announces the completion of the project. Several ribbons are stretched across the top of the banner and one man at the right side of the photo is cutting the ribbons with scissors. The man (6th from left) might be Louis Miriani who was the Mayor of Detroit at the time of the dedication. The other men are probably city, county, or state officials, but their names are not known.
