A typewritten caption previously pasted on the verso reads, "A favorite of sightseers and camera fans is Old Mission Lighthouse, located halfway between the North Pole and the equator in Grand Traverse County. The lighthouse is one of the first erected on the Great Lakes. "Motor News, Automobile Club of Michigan, 139 Bagley, Detroit 26, Michigan," is also stamped on the verso, beside the handwritten note, "328-9."
