Print, Photographic

Black and white photo of the Tawas Point Lighthouse, overlooking Saginaw Bay and Lake Huron, as viewed from the south during the winter. Snow covers the ground and roof of the keeper's house, as well as the adjacent assistant keeper's house, which previously served as the Ecorse Front Range Lighthouse prior to being moved to the site. "Michigan Travel Commission (Credit Line Appreciated) Negative Number 31-6584, Michigan Travel Commission, Lansing, Michigan 48913," is stamped on the verso. A handwritten note on the verso indicates that the photo was used in the September 1987 issue of "Michigan Living."
