Black and white photo of the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse in Port Huron overlooking the mouth of Lake Huron at the St. Clair River, as taken from the beach to the southeast. The keeper's house stands in the background on the left side of the frame. A handwritten note on the verso misidentifies the lighthouse as the "St. James Beaver Island" lighthouse. Several marks have been made around the edges of the image in red grease pencil.
