This 165 foot ship sails a 70 mile route between Houghton, Michigan and Rock Harbor Lodge, Isle Royale National Park, three times weekly from latter June through Labor Day. One of the major connections between the island and the mainland, the RANGER has a capacity of 96 passengers. No cars are carried since there are no roads on the island and autos are not permitted in the wilderness park.
