Black and white photo of the Detroit skyline and riverfront at night taken from across the Detroit River to the south. The Michigan Bell Building, Post Office at Fort and Shelby, Book-Cadillac Hotel, Book Tower, the Penobscot, the Buhl Building, the Tashmoo sign at the White Star Line dock, the David Stott Building, the Guardian Building, the Vernors factory, the David Broderick Tower, the Boblo docks, the First National Building, and the Cadillac Tower are all visible. The Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company passenger steamers, GREATER DETROIT and WESTERN STATES, and the Boblo boats, STE. CLAIRE and COLUMBIA are docked along the riverfront.
