Black and white photo manipulation depicting a drawing of proposed underground parking ramps along Washington Boulevard inserted into a photo of Washington Boulevard south from Grand Circus Park, likely taken from the Fyfe Building. The parking entrances are all capped with small cylindrical buildings. Busts are exhibited on the ends of each island. The Statler Hotel, and Book Tower stand on the west side of Washington. The David Whitney Building, the Industrial Bank Building, and the Book Cadillac Hotel are among the buildings on the east side of Washington. The drawing is signed by Charles Hannah, and dated 1946. "Proposed Washington Blvd underground garage, 1946," is handwritten, and "Manning Bros. Commercial Photographers, 16300 Brush Street (Block south of 6 Mile) Highland Park 3, Mich.," is stamped on the verso.
