The uniformed trolley driver, cigarette in mouth, stands outside the trolley at its door. Passengers, including several children in the driver's compartment wait within. The Mariners' Inn and the Detroit Federal Building stand in the background. Some handwritten marking have been made in the margins of the photo. "Downtown Detroit Trolley," and "used July '77 MN," are handwritten on the verso.
