Attached press release reads: Detroit, Dec. 16 - The 1938 Phantom Corsair will be one of the unique cars on display at the 1976 Detroit Auto Show, January 10 through the 18th at Cobo Hall.
Designed by Rust Heinz, 23-year-old scion of the famous "57 Varieties" family, this one of a kind model featured aerodynamic engineering and airplane cockpit instrumentation, including an altimeter, barometer and compass. The car seats four in the front seat and two in the back seat facing rear.
The Phantom Corsair, and other cars from Harrah's Automobile Collection in Reno, Nev., set the Auto Show theme, which the Detroit Auto Dealers Association, sponsor of the event, is calling "The Great Cars
Today's Hits, Yesterday's Dreams."
