Attached press release reads: Detroit, Dec. 19 - James Dean's '49 Mercury, from the movie "Rebel without a Cause," will be one of the featured cars on display at the 1975 Detroit Auto Show, January 11 through the 19th at Cobo Hall.
The car used in the movie by Dean and his co-star, Natalie Wood, plus other cars once owned or driven by world famous and infamous personalities, set the theme for this the 59th Auto Show, which the Detroit Auto Dealers Association, sponsors of the event, is calling "Cars of the Stars."
