Black and white photographic print depicting two men working in the Dodge Main plant at very large machinery stamping car fenders.
Caption reads: Huge Presses for Dodge Fenders. Automobile fenders - which once were simple affairs turned with little in the way of machinery - have become involved shapes made with ingeniously fashioned dies of presses of great size and tremendous power. The picture above, taken at the Dodge factory, shows one of the many batteries producing fenders, hood parts and other sheet steel components for 1941 Luxury Liners.
