Advertisements are posted for Red Crown Gasoline, the Wayne County Democratic Committee's endorsements for the 1928 presidential and gubernatorial races (featuring the slogans "[Al] Smith and Common Sense" and ("[William Alfred] Comstock and Complete Change"), Old Gold Cigarettes (featuring Charlie Chaplin), Budweiser and Anheuser-Busch's Ginger Ale, and Lux. "Manning Bros. Detroit" is embossed into the lower left, and "94039" is printed in the lower right. "From the Manning Bros.
