Sepia-toned photographic print depicting a street-level view north along the center of Woodward Avenue, taken just north of Campus Martius. On the west side of the street, visible businesses and landmarks include the Detroit News, a millinery, and the Majestic Shop in the Majestic Building, Sanders and May's in the Sanders Building, the Parisian, a drug store, S.L. Bird and Sons, Tuttle and Clark, the Fyfe Building, and the State Theater. On the east side of Woodward are W.H. Bartlette, Todd's, Kern's, Sallan Jewelers, Hudson's, the David Broderick Tower, and Central United Methodist Church. A sheltered streetcar stop is positioned in the middle of the street near Kern's. Streetcars, pedestrians, and automobiles are visible along Woodward. "Photograph property of Burt Teich and Co. Chicago" stamped on verso along with handwritten notes listing shades of grey and brown for each building and "early 1920's"
