Sepia-toned photographic print of City Hall and Campus Martius, taken from an elevated position, on the east side of Campus Martius, perhaps atop the Second Williams Block of the Monroe Block, facing west. A wreath is hung above the entrance to City Hall, and a large Christmas tree and nativity scene decorate its lawn. Snow clings to the ground, buildings, and the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument. The Hammond Building, the Penobscot Building, the Dime Building, the Lafayette Building, and the Majestic Building are all visible as well.
