Monroe Street, the Monroe Block, the Central Market Building, Cadillac Square, the Russell House, the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, and a moonlight tower are all in view. Famous Clothing House is the only storefront in the Second Williams Block with a legible sign. Pedestrians, horse carriages, and horse-drawn streetcars traverse the streets. Ste. Anne's Catholic Church is visible in the distance. "1890" handwritten on verso, however the Central Market Building was demolished in 1889.
