Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display at B. Siegel Company Department Store. A female mannequin stands displayed in front of a fireplace dressed in bridal attire, a secondary female mannequin is dressed in bridal attendant wear. The oil painting hung above the fireplace is of Benjamin Siegel. Visible in the foreground is an image of the Detroit Opera House as well as newsprint advertisements for the department store and the opera house. Signage in the right foreground reads, "Our Modern Bride is wearing a beautiful dress inspired by elegant fashions... She dreams she is in the parlor room of her Great Grandparents in Detroit, 1881. Over the fireplace hangs a portrait of Benjamin Siegel, founder of Detroit's First Women's Specialty Store, the B. Siegel Co." Printed in the lower right corner of the recto is the photographic sequence number, "189911." Stamped on the verso is the name and location of photographer, "Manning Bros. Commercial Photographers, 16300 Brush Street (Block South of 6 Mile) Highland Park 3, Mich."
