Photograph (and 1 copy). Black and white photo showing a night view of the Detroit Edison Conners Creek electric power plant and seven of its nine exhaust smokestacks. The foreground view shows a guardhouse and a guard who is standing at the entrance to a parking lot area. The power plant building and its floodlit smokestacks are visible in the background. The smokestacks were known locally as the "Seven Sisters." Black ink stamps on the verso show "This Photograph is not to be used for advertising purposes without specific permission of the Detroit Edison Company" and "Public Information Department, The Detroit Edison Company, 2000 Second Avenue, Detroit 26, Michigan; May, 13 1954."
