Photograph. Black and white photo showing an electrical transformer that is being moved to the Detroit Edison Company Macomb Substation. The view shows a large electrical transformer that is chained in place on the bed of a heavy moving truck that is owned by Morris G. Laramie & Son, Inc., of Detroit. The truck is moving across a concrete bridge that passes over a small river (probably the Clinton River). One worker is standing on top of the transformer and another is seated on top. One man is standing on side of the bridge near the back of the moving truck and it appears that he is making notes. Many trees are visible along the riverbanks in the foreground and background.
