The work space behind the bar features various storage receptacles for differing types of ice-cream and toppings. A wooden platform is visible between the counter and rear station which features dishes, glassware, coffee urns, blenders, and the cash register. The photographic sequence number, name and location of photographer are printed on the bottom of the recto, "12557; Davis B. Hillmer; Detroit."
