The studio features differing types of portraits available including those of men, women and children; an advertisement placed atop a desk in the right foreground reads, "Have your photograph hand colored in oils, $1.00." Also, a second advertisement atop the service counter reads, "57th Anniversary; Have your photograph taken today... 3 Lovely 8 x 10 pictures of you, one hand-colored in oils, $2.25, No Appointment Necessary." The studio also advertises their ability to copy old photographs. A series of women's hats are visible in the bottom left corner of the image. The photograph sequence number is printed in the bottom right corner of the recto, "17886-A."
