Photograph. Black and white photo showing an African American workman who is pushing a concrete cart at a construction site. The cart is filled with fresh concrete and he is waiting for direction on where to tip the cart. Another cart is waiting in line behind him on the right side of the photo. He is wearing work clothes, heavy gloves, and a hat that has two buttons on the left side. The larger, oval-shaped button shows "S.C. 3997" and the smaller round one is unreadable. Possibly, one or both of these are union buttons.
