A series of pedestrians are crossing the road, and they are also visible on the sidewalk in front of The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Advertisements, including one in the shape of a man in a suit and boater hat, are affixed to the façade and reads, "Hudson's Good Old Summertime, May 31 - June 8." A striped awning has been hung from the exterior overhang. Taxi cabs and a bus are visible adjacent to the curb.
