Print. Black and white photographic print of the southeast corner of Woodward and Grand River Avenues, taken from an elevated vantage point and features the deconstruction of the Newcomb-Endicott Building and the adjacent building. Signage affixed to the scaffolding surrounding the base of the two buildings reads, "THE GREATER HUDSON STORE, PLANNED BECAUSE WE BELIEVE IN A GREATER DETROIT, Bryant & Detwiler Co. General Builders." Pedestrians are visible on the street corner. Automobiles are parked adjacent to the curb on Woodward. The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store is visible in the right background. The photographic sequence number is printed on the bottom of the recto, "86868." Also, the name of the photography studio and their geographic location are embossed on the bottom of the recto, "Manning Bros., Detroit."
