Black and white photographic print of the southeast corner of Woodward and Grand River Avenues, taken from an elevated vantage point, and features the deconstruction of the Newcomb-Endicott Building. Scaffolding is visible around the base of the structure. Signage is affixed to the scaffolding at the sidewalk intersection and reads, "Bryant & Detwiler Co. General Contractors. Work trucks are parked along the curb on Grand River. The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store is visible in the right background. The photographic sequence number is printed on the bottom of the recto, "86734." Also, the name of the photography studio and their geographic location are embossed on the bottom of the recto, "Manning Bros., Detroit."
