Sepia-toned photo of Crowley-Milner and Company--the Partridge and Blackwell Building and the expansion--taken from Gratiot Avenue and Farmer Street, facing northeast. The windows of the lower floors of the Partridge and Blackwell Building have been retouched in grey, and all surrounding buildings, and some of the utility lines have also been eliminated. Cars and pedestrians are visible in a blur at the base of the buildings. A Manning Brothers stamp is on the verso, and "1939??" has been handwritten.
