Print. Black and white photographic print of an interior view of the Auditorium decorated as Santa Land for the holidays at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. The upper perimeter of the auditorium is ornamented with Neuschwanstein castles, and nursery rhyme themes including the old woman who lived in her shoe, saw a ship a sailing, and the house that Jack built. Kiosks create individualized toy departments and include model cars and military vehicles, wood cut-outs, and board games. The Cashiers' Parcel Desk is visible on the left side of the auditorium. The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "11-16-44; 22000-5x; Davis B. Hillmer."
