They are probably on site to observe the construction of aerial power lines across the St. Clair River that will form an interconnection between the Detroit Edison Marysville electric power plant and Ontario Hydro transmission line towers that are located just south of Sarnia, Ontario. The base of a steel lattice transmission line tower can be seen in the background along. Also, there are several temporary timber support structures that will hold the slack power cables above the adjacent roadway until the cables can be raised to the top of the tower.
