The barge and its 6-member crew are assisting in the construction of aerial power lines across the river which will form an interconnection between the Marysville electric power plant and Ontario Hydro transmission lines located just south of Sarnia, Ontario. A U.S. yacht ensign is flying in the left foreground area of the photo. Steel lattice transmission line towers that will support the aerial power lines can be seen in the center right background. Also, coal piles can be seen in the background.
